Thinking About Living in Pelican Golf Club?
Get connected with a local real-estate specialist who understands Pelican Golf Club and the surrounding Clearwater / St. Petersburg golf market.
Pelican Golf Club occupies the site of the historic, Donald Ross-designed Belleview Biltmore Golf Club (1925), redesigned by Beau Welling in 2018 after the Doyle family's 2017 purchase of the property. It has hosted the LPGA Tour's The ANNIKA (formerly the Pelican Women's Championship) every year since 2020, and previously hosted the nationally televised golf exhibition 'The Match' -- a level of tour-caliber visibility unusual for a club this size.
Membership is invitation-only and requires sponsorship from a current member; there is no public application process, and the club does not disclose its fees. Unlike most of the market's other private clubs, Pelican has no residential subdivision of its own -- its pull is on the broader Belleair/Belleair Bluffs golf-oriented housing market rather than one bordering neighborhood.
