The Wanderers Club
A private, family-oriented golf and country club in the heart of Wellington's equestrian-and-polo corridor. The course opened in 1985 as Wellington Golf & Country Club (Ted McAnlis design) and was substantially redesigned and rebranded as The Wanderers Club in 2007 by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy. Membership requires an application via a referring member; the club does not publish its initiation fee or dues.

Communities Near The Wanderers Club
Living in these communities does not automatically grant golf membership unless noted below — confirm access directly with the club.
What to Independently Verify
Confirm current initiation fee, annual dues, and whether membership is equity or non-equity directly with the club -- none of this is published, and this record's 'non_equity' access_type is a reasonable inference from an application/referral process, not a confirmed club statement. The gated Lakefield West community (207 single-family homes, most on a golf course, lake, or cul-de-sac) sits directly across the street from the club and is the clearest, most concretely documented associated residential community; membership there is available to residents but explicitly not required. Whether the club's own grounds/clubhouse carry a distinct gated perimeter (separate from Lakefield West's own gating) was not confirmed this session. Real-estate aggregator sites also market other individual homes/villas generically as being 'in' The Wanderers Club without naming a distinct subdivision -- treat that broader claim as lower-confidence than the Lakefield West relationship.
