Connect With a Local Real Estate Specialist

Atlanta Athletic Club is one of the most competitively significant private clubs in the Southeast: founded in 1898 (originally at East Lake, where it built East Lake Golf Club in 1904), it relocated to a larger Johns Creek property in the late 1960s and now operates two 18-hole courses, Highlands and Riverside. The Highlands Course has hosted the 1976 US Open (won by Jerry Pate) and PGA Championships in 1981 (Larry Nelson), 2001 (David Toms), and 2011 (Keegan Bradley over Jason Dufner in a playoff).

Golf & Course

Originally designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Joe Finger, both courses have been substantially reworked by Rees Jones (2003, 2006, 2016) and, most recently, Tripp Davis (2022).
