River North Country Club

An 18-hole, par-72 course (roughly 6,700-6,800 yards depending on source) designed by World Golf Hall of Fame member Gary Player, who was among the first foursome to play the inaugural round in April 1974. The course has no parallel fairways on its gently rolling terrain, with large, fast, often-elevated greens; its signature closing hole (#18) is a 416-yard par 4 requiring an approach over water to an island green. It hosted the Nike Tour's (now Korn Ferry Tour) Macon Open from 1990-1995.

Private club with six membership categories: Full, Golf, Associate Golf, Young Executive Golf, Social, and River North Resident -- each including privileges for spouse and eligible dependents.
