East Ridge Country Club
The only member-owned private country club in the Shreveport area (founded 1955, Ellis Maples design), a classic historic in-town club in a well-established South Shreveport residential area rather than a purpose-built golf-residential development.

What to Independently Verify
East Ridge's residential-integration case is real but general -- it sits in an established, desirable South Shreveport residential area near Youree Drive (a street named East Ridge Drive in the nearby Pierremont area bears the club's name), but this research found no gated, HOA-governed, or golf-bundled subdivision formally tied to the club the way Southern Trace, StoneBridge, or Olde Oaks are. Membership is independent of home purchase or location -- there is no property-tied or homeowner-required membership pathway. In 2014 the club acquired Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club and in 2019 purchased the David Toms 265 Golf Academy, expanding its amenity footprint beyond the original 1955 club.
