Ocean Pines

Founded in 1968, Ocean Pines is one of the Eastern Shore's largest planned communities: 8,452 platted lots across roughly 3,000 wooded, waterfront acres in northern Worcester County, with an estimated 12,000 full-time and 8,000 part-time/seasonal residents. The community operates its own police, fire, water and public-works departments, and its namesake 18-hole golf club is one of several amenities (alongside five pools, two marinas, a Beach Club and more) purchased separately from the base annual lot assessment.
