Thinking About Living in TPC Twin Cities?
Get connected with a local real-estate specialist who understands TPC Twin Cities and the surrounding Twin Cities Metro golf market.
TPC Twin Cities opened in 2000 as an Arnold Palmer design built in consultation with Minnesota's own Tom Lehman, and has been the PGA Tour's Twin Cities home ever since -- most notably as host of the 3M Open every year since the event's 2019 debut, giving it a level of live tournament-golf visibility no other Twin Cities metro private club currently has. The club sits inside Deacon's Walk, a Blaine subdivision that shares its name and branding with the course and whose namesake HOA (Deacon's Walk Home Owners Association, Inc., a 76-unit association) was built in 2000, the same year the course opened -- a real, purpose-timed pairing of course and community rather than an unrelated subdivision that happens to be nearby. The broader Deacon's Walk area also includes several separately governed but branding-linked developments (The Lakes at Deacons Walk, Masters at Deacon Walk).
Membership itself remains a genuinely exclusive, invitation-only product: prospective members must be proposed and sponsored by a current member, and the club offers family, corporate, social, and non-resident membership categories, plus reciprocal playing privileges across the broader TPC Network (TPC Scottsdale, TPC Sawgrass, and others) -- a real national-network amenity layered on top of local membership. This session found no evidence, however, that Deacon's Walk homeowners receive any membership discount, priority, or automatic access distinct from an outside applicant.
Golf & Course
The Arnold Palmer-designed, Tom Lehman-consulted course plays to a par-72, 7,164 yards with a 75.6 rating and 147 slope on bentgrass. It has hosted the PGA Tour's 3M Open annually since 2019 and previously hosted PGA Tour Champions events, giving Blaine a genuine touring-professional golf identity within the Twin Cities metro.
Membership & Access
Does buying a home here include club membership?
Membership is invitation-only and requires sponsorship by a current member; the club does not publish its fee schedule. Members gain golf and clubhouse privileges plus reciprocal access to other TPC Network private, resort, and destination clubs nationally. Living in Deacon's Walk does not confer club membership or a documented discount on it -- residents apply through the same sponsored-invitation process as anyone else.
Living in TPC Twin Cities
Deacon's Walk is a purpose-timed, name-sharing residential subdivision built alongside the course's 2000 opening, with homes on walkout lots overlooking the fairways and several linked-but-separately-governed HOAs (Deacon's Walk proper, The Lakes at Deacons Walk, Masters at Deacon Walk) covering different phases of the development. This session found no evidence that access terms differ across these phases, so they are treated here as one community.
Lifestyle & Amenities
The clubhouse offers casual and upscale dining rooms, private meeting/banquet space, men's and women's locker facilities, and a golf shop that has been ranked among the Top 100 in the U.S. by Golf World Business.
Location & Surrounding Area
Blaine sits in the north metro along the Anoka/Ramsey County line, roughly 20-25 minutes north of downtown Minneapolis -- a different north-metro corridor than North Oaks (also Ramsey County but organized as its own private city).
