Anthem (its own Del Webb master-plan area) splits into two administratively separate communities sharing only a name and area: the non-age-restricted Anthem Country Club community and the age-restricted Sun City Anthem, which are not affiliated and confer no membership crossover. No club researched in Henderson bundles golf into home price in the way a Discovery Land-style community does -- with one real exception. DragonRidge, Anthem Country Club, and SouthShore Country Club are all private clubs with separate, optional, paid membership; DragonRidge's is effectively restricted to MacDonald Highlands residents, Anthem's requires member sponsorship (invitation-only), and SouthShore's is private/members-only without a residency restriction confirmed either way. Henderson's golf-adjacent home pricing spans an unusually wide range for one city. MacDonald Highlands custom homes run roughly $2.5M-$25M+ (2026 median list near $4.1M). It is a more varied lifestyle mix within one city than Summerlin's more uniformly desert-golf character.

Henderson sits southeast of the Las Vegas Strip; MacDonald Highlands and Anthem occupy the hillier terrain toward the McCullough Range foothills, while Lake Las Vegas sits further southeast around its namesake reservoir/lake, roughly 20-25 minutes from the Strip. Boulder City, further southeast still, was researched separately and sustains no qualifying golf anchor of its own (its inventory is ordinary municipal/public golf) -- notably, Cascata Golf Course, sometimes loosely associated with the Henderson area in marketing, is physically located in Boulder City, not Henderson.
