North Jersey Country Club
Play began in 1895 as Paterson Golf Club, renamed North Jersey Country Club in 1896 and incorporated in 1897 under founding president Garret A. Hobart, who went on to serve as U.S. Vice President. After a 1917 clubhouse fire, the club relocated to the 327-acre former Greenbrook Farm in Wayne Township, where Walter J. Travis designed the current course (construction began 1921).
