Trump National Golf Club Bedminster

Trump National Golf Club Bedminster occupies more than 600 rolling acres in Bedminster Township, Somerset County, about 40 miles west of New York City. The property began as a struggling course project (previously associated with the Lamington Farm name) before the Trump Organization built it out as a Trump-branded club, opening the Tom Fazio-designed Old Course in 2004 and a second Tom Fazio II design, the New Course, in 2008. The estate includes a clubhouse, a cemetery plot the Trump family has designated for itself, and extensive practice and lifestyle facilities.

The club's genuine major-championship credential is the 2017 U.S. Women's Open, won by Park Sung-hyun. A widely repeated but factually incorrect claim attributes the 2022 PGA Championship to this club: the PGA of America did award Bedminster that event in 2014, but stripped and relocated it in January 2021 following the January 6, 2021 Capitol events, and it was never played there.
