Connect With a Local Real Estate Specialist

Huntington Country Club was founded in 1910 by a group of prominent local and national industrialists, financiers, and philanthropists who acquired 144 acres to build a first-rate golf course and recreational facilities for their growing, increasingly prosperous community. Devereux Emmet, one of the era's leading golf architects, was engaged to design the original 18-hole course, and the club's board elected him a full Honorary Member in 1911. The course has since been carefully restored by Geoffrey Cornish and Stephen Kay to preserve its classic character.

An earlier discovery-pass note attributed this club to Cold Spring Harbor; the club's own official address places it in the Town of Huntington proper, on West Main Street/Route 25A, several miles from Cold Spring Harbor -- this record corrects that location.
