MacGregor Downs Country Club was founded in 1966 by developer Greg Poole as the centerpiece of a planned Cary community, with a Willard Byrd-designed course. As of 2026 it is operated by Concert Golf Partners, which also operates The Club at 12 Oaks in Holly Springs.
Membership & Access
Does buying a home here include club membership?
Concert Golf's Premier Golf Membership explicitly bundles access to both MacGregor Downs and The Club at 12 Oaks for one membership — a genuine multi-club relationship confirmed via the operator's own marketing material this session, resolving a cross-membership claim flagged as unverified at the discovery stage.
