Thinking About Living in Bear Creek Golf Club?
Get connected with a local real-estate specialist who understands Bear Creek Golf Club and the surrounding Hilton Head Island golf market.
Bear Creek Golf Club is one of four distinct golf clubs inside the gated Hilton Head Plantation community, positioned as a strictly golf-focused club rather than a full-service country club, with membership capped at roughly 250.
Golf & Course
The course is a Rees Jones design (his first), founded 1980. The club's own materials describe a full range of membership, outing, and public-tee-time options, alongside multi-tiered practice facilities (driving range, putting green, short-game area).
Membership & Access
Does buying a home here include club membership?
Membership is optional for Hilton Head Plantation residents, alongside Country Club of Hilton Head, Oyster Reef, and Dolphin Head. This session re-confirmed the reported ~250-member cap via an independent source (a golf-community directory and the Hilton Head Chamber of Commerce listing), strengthening confidence beyond the original discovery pass, though a primary club-published cap figure was still not located.
