Midland and Odessa, the twin cities of the Permian Basin, are treated as one combined market given their shared geography and the fact that at least one candidate club (Ranchland Hills) explicitly markets itself as serving both cities. Green Tree Country Club in Midland is the clearest golf-residential-integration case, anchoring an upscale, long-established neighborhood. Three other candidates remain genuinely unresolved this pass: Odessa Country Club's only sourcing found is a weak forum discussion; Midland Country Club had a source-attribution conflict (one snippet incorrectly placed it in Odessa, resolved here to Midland on source-naming evidence, but not independently confirmed live); and Ranchland Hills Golf Club has a conflicting operating-status signal (a Yelp listing tagged it closed) that this pass could not resolve.
Membership & Access Patterns
No club in this market has confirmed bundled-to-homeownership membership. Green Tree's access mechanics were not confirmed with a first-party source. Buyers should confirm current status directly, especially given the unresolved operating-status question at Ranchland Hills.

Notable

- A source-identity conflict was found and flagged (not silently resolved) for Midland Country Club's city attribution.
- Ranchland Hills Golf Club's current operating status is unresolved: a Yelp listing tagged it closed (Sept 2026) while its own domain was still cited as live.
