California Golf Club of San Francisco
Founded in 1918 and incorporated in San Francisco (source of its name), California Golf Club of San Francisco -- 'Cal Club' -- has been physically located on ~425 acres in South San Francisco since the mid-1920s. Alister MacKenzie reworked its bunkering and at least two greens just before designing Cypress Point Club; Kyle Phillips restored the course in 2007-2008.

What to Independently Verify
IDENTITY FLAG (resolved): despite its name, this club is physically in South San Francisco (San Mateo County), not the city of San Francisco -- do not attach San Francisco-city sourcing to this record by name-matching alone. It is also a distinct entity from the unrelated 'California Club' (a downtown Los Angeles social club with no golf course, and separately a downtown San Francisco social club also sometimes referred to as 'California Club' that likewise has no golf course) -- all sourcing used here is specific to the golf club at calclub.org. Aggregator-reported initiation fees ($250,000-$500,000) are unconfirmed at a primary source; confirm directly with the club.
