Thinking About Living in Spyglass Hill Golf Course?
Get connected with a local real-estate specialist who understands Spyglass Hill Golf Course and the surrounding Monterey Peninsula / Pebble Beach golf market.
Spyglass Hill is the second Pebble Beach Company anchor on the peninsula and deserves independent treatment rather than being folded into an undifferentiated 'Pebble Beach' brand entry -- it is a distinct golf course with its own design pedigree, ranking history, and tournament role, even though it shares Pebble Beach Golf Links' ownership and access model.
Golf & Course
Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1966, Spyglass Hill takes its name and hole names from Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island (Stevenson reportedly drew inspiration for the novel from time spent on the Monterey Peninsula). The course is known for a demanding routing that opens along the dunes near the ocean before moving inland through pine and cypress forest, and it has long been considered one of the most difficult courses in tournament rotation.

Does buying a home here include club membership?
